Dis Little Goggie Knows Sign Language!
Snowy was adopted four years ago by her mommy Lynne Chapman. She’s like other dogs. She loves to play and enjoys getting love from her mommy. But, Snowy is deaf! When Lynne adopted her, she knew she was deaf and was determined to find a way to communicate with the new member of her family. Snowy now knows the signs for “come here,” “no,” and “food” among many, many others. Snowy now lives a wonderfully happy life with Lynne. Thanks for being amazing ladies!

Kind-hearted Lynn adopted Snowy four years ago after visiting an animal shelter and finding out that she could not hear any vocal commands. … Lynne, was told by the animal shelter that Snowy had been mistreated by her previous owners who didn’t realise she was deaf and just assumed she was a naughty dog. Determined to give her a proper doggie life the great grandmother borrowed sign language tips from a family friend and slowly began tutoring the hard-of-hearing Staffordshire-cross.

But things fortunately took a turn for the better, because less than a month after being rescued by The Blue Cross, Alice was adopted by Marie Williams and Mark Morgan — themselves a deaf couple — and is now happy in a new home and learning sign language.
