Graham Waspe, a blind man, was heartbroken when he found out that Edward, his loyal service dog of six years, had gone blind after developing cataracts. But his sadness soon vanished when Opal, his replacement service dog, turned out to be a real gem.

“Opal’s been great for both of us,” Waspe said in an interview with the Daily Mail. “I don’t know what we’d do without her.”
