Labrador – Common and dull, but loyal. This breed doesn’t deserve to win, too many people have them (which is why it will probably win, ugh).
Huskies – Trouble makers, stubborn, escape artists, house wreckers, but the most georgeous, beautiful dog on this planet. People think they look like wolves, so are scared of them (wolves, by the way, are extremely shy and should not be feared, but respected), but huskies are one of the most friendly and welcoming dogs out there, I am surprised that they are not winning.
Bulldogs – I look at this dog and go YEUCH. Look at it people! How can anyone like the look of that dog? Also, they have too much trouble breathing, poor things. They can’t even have natural births.
Pitbulls – Have plenty of bad press, because they end up in the wrong hands far too often. D’you know why? Because angry and common little men buy them from back yard breeders as a status symbol. If you’ve got a pitbull or a staffie or any other dog similar to those, you most likely just have one to make you look tough. They have boxy features, and are certainly not “byootifull”. Gotta’ feel sorry for them though, poor guys, getting taught to fight against one another.

By the way I have a Staffy, I saved his life as he was about to be killed by Battersea Dog’s home as a “problem dog” probably tested by someone like you, given he hasn’t got an aggressive bone in his body and was fully trained and well behaved from the moment I got him home! By the way I am not a angry, common, little man nor do I have my dog as a status symbol. But by all means carry on making yourself look like a total jackass!

Did I ever say that they were aggressive? No, I did not. I said that they end up in the wrong hands far to often, and are often used as a status symbol by people who buy them from backyard breeders. You, on the other hand, rescued one of these dogs. You did not buy them from a breeder, which does not make you one of those people who buys these kinds of dogs as a status symbol, hopefully.
So, before you make a reply like that, read through people’s comments carefully, to avoid making yourself look like a fool.

You said that, which sounds pretty ignorant to me. Pit bulls are the most popular dog breed in the country right now, and very few people actually own them to ‘look tough.’ I have two pits, Ben and June, and they’re the most loving dogs I could ask for, despite the fact that they’re both rescue animals who were horribly abused before I got them.
So before you lecture other people about looking like fools, try and do a little research and not make idiotic generalizations, because you look like a far bigger fool than Arooo does.

I would suggest that in future you think before posting such crap, there are a lot of very decent Staffie and Pitbull owners out there who happen to love their dogs and who do think they are beautiful despite your shallow and ill-educated views. By the way it is probably a good thing that you don’t own a dog as you don’t seem to know much about them and base a lot on looks.

Pit bulls, please. I think they’re adorable, and if nurtured by the right homes and people, they can be the sweetest, happiest dogs around.
Pitties, please!!!! all the other dogs already have good press, the pits can use the help. They are good, sweet dogs if raised correctly, and even the ones that haven’t been done well by (re the Vick dogs) can do well in the right hands. I am the proud auntie of a full pit (who was rescued from death at the hands of a fighter), and a half-pit (also rescued along with her mother and sister), and there couldn’t be two more loving girls in the world. Pitties forever!!

I use to think pitbulls were dangerous because of all the bad press (think about it, every time there is a reported dog attack, 10-1 it’s a pitbull).
But that was before my sister and her boyfriend got Max! He’s a pitbull mixed with…something, they think ridgeback but he has lab characteristics too. He was abandoned as a puppy and they rescued him.
He isn’t even a year old yet and is one of the sweetest most lovable dogs I’ve ever met! And a silly clumsy oaf to boot!
All “pit bull looking” dogs are reported as “pit bulls” in an attack.
It’s media hype. Look at bite statistics, temperament tests, and breed IQ testing. These are some of the most loyal, loving dogs in the world.

There is nothing wrong with Pitbulls as a breed, it is the majority of people that buy them that completely destroy this loving breed’s reputation. The only people that I have seen with Staffordshire Terriers, Pitbull Terriers, Bull Terriers and similar breeds are common men who put on huge harnesses on these dogs to make people intimidated by this breed that has got this reputation because of bad breeding and aggressive people who have turned this animal into fighting dogs to make some money.
There are far too many idiots out there who buy this dog for it’s strong and fierce appearance, it is now a status symbol, which means more people are buying them, leading to excessive bad breeding.
Anyway, pitbulls won, which is not a surprise since so many people have them, because they are a blinkin’ status symbol.
