My little man was called back to Heaven on July 24th, 2004 at 11:24 a.m. His ashes are with us but his precious little soul is waiting for the rest of us in Heaven, bless him. Since I can’t hug him anymore it’s my absoloute pleasure to hug everybody else’s dogs !!!!!!!!!!!
Making a dog pull a tractor is kinda mean, other than that, it’s a cool video.
There was a time where I would have agreed with you but then we got a St. Bernard Shepherd mix that LOVES to pull. We had to get special leashes just to walk her. When we get out the “pulling” harness (not a tractor – she’s not that strong, thank god) she goes nuts with excitement! It’s like a kid though, you have to be sensible, but she’s done, she knows. The vet agrees. We tried it with our lab mix, but he wanted nothing to do with it. Now tracking with him is another story . . . Guess it’s all in genetics.

How is that mean? Judging by the cameras around i don’t think he had to pull a long stretch, and dogs like exercise.
If you wanna be the complany-pants hippey, look at the rock climbing dog, i don’t spot a safety line there and there’s an asian waiting at the bottom.
The pulling the tractor thing disturbed me, too. I think the dog had fun doing it and also is strong enough, but it was pulling the tractor only with a collar, so with the trachea. This can cause damage.

The googies are just one of the most awesome gifts God has sent to humans. An angel dog saved my life, she was a beautiful golden lab, I hug her in my heart always. That they put up with our nonsense ( doggie clothes….really?) just shows how great they are. Hugs and kisses to all the googies

UGH at the dog killing the shark. Poor thing. And the dog with the tractor–I understand dogs love to pull and weight-pulling competition is cool, but FFS they couldn’t even put him in a pulling harness? All the force is on his neck! There is no way that isn’t dangerous. I had to stop after that (though the Shiba in the opening bit was lovely.)
Looked more like a Shikoku (Kochi-ken) than a Shiba. But it’s hard to tell without something to compare it’s size to.

AWWWW THEY WERE ALL GREAT! I didnt like the pulling one (ass someone mentioned the pressure was on his neck…thats not good) or the rock climbing one, but the rest was AWESOMELY EPIC WIN (especially the greyhound…) =D =D =D and ESPECIALLY the talking dog! RI ROV RU!

Dogs are the best, and most dogs shown are living teir happy dog lives– but thinking they’re cool because they’re acting human and otherwise anthropomorphorised (is that a word?) is just human narcisism… So no to dogs having to pull tractors or walk upright…

Awesome video. Would’ve been nice if they put a clip of Hachiko or something like it. A dog’s loyalty is it’s best attribute.
The dogs are all awesome. Some of their people are not. Some of those dogs were in dangerous situations unnecessarily.
Did anyone bring up the dog that was climbing all over the moving truck? That and the rock climbing… those dogs never should have been in those situations.
@delveccio – Sweetheart, dogs, awesome as they are, don’t have any judgment, or at least not much to speak of. The rock climbing dog did it for fun, he didn’t understand that he could fall to his death. His owners did, and they’re all lucky he’s alive.
