I’d take a guess at a golden saluki (possibly greyhound), maybe a cross… it seems too fluffy to be a pedigree, but it definately has a sighthound’s head

Yeah, it’s a borzoi! We had one growing up, and dressed her as a ghost for halloween… which is to say,… we didn’t do anything at all and just took her with. She was exceptionally good with kids, if a bit empty headed.

As for intelligence – they are VERY intelligent dogs, but very independent. They can be a challenge to train, but basic manners are easily trained because they come naturally.

No, I am not a trainer, other than having trained my own dogs. But if you had read above, I stated that I have four Borzoi, so I guess you could say I know the breed well…
