At the Scuola Italiana Cani Salvataggio (Italian School of Canine Lifeguards), goggies are trained to keep the waters of Italy’s popular seas safe for swimmers and beach-goers. Whether pulling rafts and other flotation devices to safety on the beaches’ shores, or jumping off speeding boats or out of helicopters to rescue swimmers in need, these dogs play a critical role in keeping Italian summers fun for everyone on the beach.
