Unfortunately, Tyra wouldn’t return our calls about getting the phone numbers for dog models, so now we’re asking you!

Female Shih Tzu has a pink collar with white bones on it, and a turquois harness (with a Princess tag on it, of course). Male Shih Tzu has a leather collar with metal studs that matches the male Pitbull’s collar lol

Anyone who has a pit bull and small dogs in one house knows that the small dogs rule the roost. I’m surprised someone on a dog blog would still make such an ignorant statement.

And I was joking. I didn’t exactly expect the shi tzus to be the dominant ones cos I don’t know much about that particular breed; I was expecting them just to generally get along and wasn’t expecting to find out which one was the dominant one…

I am definitely sensitive about the issue with all the problems and misunderstandings pit bulls face. As a person who constantly has to explain that my dog is not going to attack PEOPLE it bothers me when people joke like that.
I have a friend who has a pit bull and two shi tzus and they completely dominate her pit.
Nephew-dog has a metal one and a natural leather one (brown? tan?).
My corgi has a brown natural leather collar.
My dog is a designer (LOL) half doxy half labrador. He wears camoflage against his black fur.

He is a rescue. Short legs on a Lab body. So full of energy if I could bottle it I would make a fortune.
Our dogs have Red Sox collars, but wear scarves around them. I don’t know if scarves is the right word. You stick the collar in a band around the top of the scarf, and there’s a triangular portion resting on the dogs ‘back. We change them regularly after bath time. We get them at doggoneshopping.net. My Dad does all the shopping.
My yellow golden retriever/lab mix has an olive green collar with a paisley patterned stripe in earth tones in the middle of it. Very pretty! Our red dachshund has a red collar.

We’ve got three dogs here. The oldest (Rotti/Basset) is sorta goin’ body-bald so he only wears a white flea collar, the second is a Rotti/Shepard who doesn’t wear one because she takes them off, and my Lilly is a black and white Siberian mix with white-blue eyes so of course she has to wear blue.

My chihuahua is currently wearing a black fabric collar with white Punisher-style skulls. Before that, he was wearing a pink and purple leopard patterned fabric C-A-T collar with a bell on it. Before that, he had a black fabric collar with red chili peppers.
My miniature dachshund is wearing a purple fabric collar . She had a lovely “dress collar” that was pink fabric with lovely 3D roses and loves sewn to it, but she scratched it up.
Before that, she had one of the last belt style leather buckle collars I’ve seen in stores . It was a large C-A-T collar , pink leather with green rhinestones.
That should be “…roses and LEAVES sewn to it…”. Weirdest typo ever.
Oh, and our cat is wearing a pink and olive camo fabric collar, with the bell removed as she hated it.

My dog’s collar is blue because he’s a white fluffy poodle, so the collar is the only way that people can tell he’s a boy.
Every dog I’ve ever had gets their own color. My oldest and admittedly favorite dog is named Holley, after the carburetor brand. Her collar is checkered flag patterned. Sugar’s collar was purple. Cosmo’s was blue. Crash’s is gray and reflective b/c he’s deaf and, just in case he escapes the house, I want to make sure cars can see him since he can’t hear them coming.
I work with weavers who made the collars for my 4 dogs. I then sewed them onto black webbing and now they have their own unique collars.
Oopss colours… striped with red, green,yellow…, oh you name it and the weavers done it.

My old dog Jenny used to wear a bright orange collar and a bone tag that was a shiney redish/pinkish color! She died in the year of 2008 of December right before Christmas. :.(….. that is cring
One week befor Jenny died we bought a little kitten named Ella and then we has to put Jenny down and then one month later we figured out our little Ella had Cancer in her chest and she was only a month old Sooo we had to put her down. Ella died like one day before christmas. Then my fish Squiggles died he was about five yrs old maybe four and then the tenth of febuary we bought a new fish. He was my Valentine gift. That valentines day wasnt the best becsue my best freind Squiggles died.I probley spent about three hours cring in my mum and dads room.My new fishes name was Mr. Kisses and we got along but that was my only animal that i didnt really get along with. We just didnt bond! Then about a year later Mr. Kisses died and then for about a month i was pet less and then for eight bday srry seventh my parents got this deloot calico and her name is Faith i named her that becasue her rescurers name was Fay so i named her Faith and eversince she has had no problems and she is laying her Build a Bear workshop bed right now and she is about three yrs old and i am ten! So Ya that is what color collar my old dog Jenny had!

Somehow when I went to the shelter I ended up with the sole Diva Dog in the place!
Minnie was kept as a breeder dog in a puppy mill. She’s a miniature maltese-poodle mix. She was 3 1/2 pounds when rescued, 7 pounds now. All but 7 of her teeth had to be pulled. That’s why when you see the pictures of her I uploaded for captioning her tongue is always sticking out.
And I’m not kidding about the diva part! She LOVES to wear clothing! LOVES anything hot pink. Went absolutely NUTS for the collar with bling – right down to licking it like it was some sort of long lost lover.
Honestly, Minnie has a better wardrobe then I do!
Indy is currently wearing Canyon Orange with his name and phone #. He also has name collars in Sage Green and Red. An important thing for me is that he doesn’t wear tags that jingle so identifying info is vital. He’s a collie mix and his coat colors seem to be complemented by earth tones or bright red.

My 61 lb. female lab/chow/shepard mix wears a pink leather rhinestone-studded collar, ’cause she’s a girly-girl! She gets miffed when the groomer takes it off to bathe her!
My beagle Clark has a Chicago Cubs collar for dress-up and a Cubbie blue collar for everyday. The Cubs collar is too slippery for everyday use.
I’m thinking of changing his name and collars and begging forgiveness from him from ever associating him with the worthless pile of scat that is the current Cubs organization.

My itty bitty pom used to be fine wearing collars… now if you put one on him he will scream and lay on the floor until you take it off. My cats however, wear a black and white paw print collar and a blue sparkly collar. (don’t worry, we watch him like a hawk, so he wont get lost/stolen)

After they passed on (after 12 and 15 years, respectively) our current male (Xander) has a black ballistic nylon one, and our current female (Laika) has blue ballistic nylon – which Xander LOVES to chew on. We’ve replaced hers about 6 times now

My dog had a black leather collar with metal spikes. When he grew out of that, we kinda went in a different direction fashion-wise and he now has a blue argyle printed one with a brown border. It looks really good with his light blonde fur. I just found one though, that I think he might have to have next, that’ll go back in the other more punk-inspired direction. It’s black with little white skull-and-crossbones, and little blue stars printed on it. And the buckle looks like a miniature seat-belt buckle from like the eighties.
He’s an 18lb cockapoo. He doesn’t look like most cockapoos though. His face is smooth like the cocker, so he kinda ends up looking like a miniaure golden retriever. Little lighter colored, slightly longer ears, and a stubby tail. But I have had people ask me if he’s a golden puppy before. He’s actually 5 years old.
I was forced to pick a purple collar for our female black lab because my boyfriend didn’t want her to have a pink collar. I think if she had a blinging pink collar she wouldn’t be called a boy all the time, but nooooooooo he didn’t want pink :@ So our lovely female gets called a he by everyone.
That’s why my mom always bought hot pink collars for our schnauzer. People still called her a he sometimes, though.
Now we have two maltese, and we try to make sure people can tell them apart. The girl has a dark pink collar with light pink hearts, and the boy has a black one with skulls.

Two, a black pitbull, and a bullmastiff. They wear chains. Not because they are though, but because the mastiff has eaten two leather collars and one nylon one. One leather one actually had spikes! Next there will be license plates and tires. lol. He’s like a shark!
