    Such a sweet dog.

  3. MommaMackie says:

I would give that sweet face a forever home, gladly…..

  4. Markitteh says:

Makes you wonder about the heartless ones who stage dog fights. Sad sad sad.

  5. Bada says:

They’re nawt fight goggies, they’re love goggies.

  6. Heidi says:

Seriously, guys? This is LOLDOGS. They’re supposed to be funny. Take the political-emotional stuff elsewhere.

    • Shuko says:

Much as I agree with the statement this lol is making, I agree with Heidi too. It’s called a “LOL” for a reason. I don’t laugh out loud when I see this. I sob in-side instead. A “SIS” is not a “LOL.” :(

That being said, did anyone else notice the adorable little toe spot the cutie up there has? It’s like it dipped one foot into a lake of milk and decided not to jump in! xD

      • bearfoot says:

Geeze, guys. One not funny LOLdog and you’re all upset. I hate to use this term but.. don’t be so butt hurt.

        • x says:

Agreed. Jeebus, it’s one pic. Maybe sometimes its good to remember not all dogs have happy homes with people taking cute photos of them.

  7. Eagleapex says:

This is not funny. I want funny

  8. bill smith says:

Heidi, you are 100% correct, sorry but sometimes it just gets to me, on with the laughs…peace

  9. katzklaw says:

    win. pure win. 110% <3 <3 <3 <3

and for the naysayers…. :-P not everything on here is funny. some things make you say "awwww" this made me say "awwwwww"

  10. keshet says:

cyoot widdlol fayc deesurvs ay schmoo!

  11. Caitlyn says:

This is so true. I had a dog like that once, someone stole him from our yard and sold him to a dog fighting ring. When they realised he wouldn’t fight they just threw him out onto the streets. Luckily we got him back about a week later.

  12. ree says:

yes, this site provides lots of laughs and this is the first email i open each day. but…the dirty business of dog fighting is prevalent in every state and once in a while we all need to be reminded that the outside world is pretty evil…and DONATE to those sites that give their time to opposing this crime. and let’s not forget boycotting states that look the other way re puppy mills. ie, pennsylvania and missouri!
    you’re right…tho.

  13. Darklady says:

Now you’ve gone and made me cry. I have to go hug my dog…and my cat….and my kid….at three in the morning….before I can look at any more LOLs!

    • VelmaDinkley says:

If you’re looking at lols at three in the morning, then your name is completely appropriate, Darklady!

      • Darklady says:

LOL I’m a nightshifter by nature… and speaking of names…have you seen a tee with “we’ve got some work to do now” that’s Velma and Scooby as slayers? Search it, it’s cool!

  14. Charlie Oscar Delta says:

I have several souls, none of them the one i was borne with, and i would gladly give one to the people who do that abomination…then tear it out again and loose the dogs on them

  15. Chris says:

    I want funny goggie :(

  16. soundy says:

id fight to teh death if I see someone who forces dogs to such things.

  17. jez says:

couldn’t agree more – sometimes a pithy comment makes a point where a funny caption can’t.

  18. Cheyennel23 says:

Awww! Such a cute goggy! Da Pit Bulls can be such good goggies to have as pets. For those who say that this is Political, or not funny, the not so funny posts make the funny ones that much funnier.

This is so sweet. And I enjoyed it.

  19. macushla says:

Yes this is supposed to be funny but there have been many on here that make me cry — do you remember the dog in the street in the pouring rain? Sometimes we do need a reminder that not all of life is funny.

    • mebbe says:

We have lol sites for lols and news sites for news and serious business. I don’t come to these kind of sites to have a reality check, I go to CNN.com for that. Also, I don’t think it’s this site’s responsibility to start giving me motivational posters on issues I’m not only aware of, but a subject that gets talked to death by people who constantly go “aww, look at that face, how could you hurt it?!” and the extent of their research is that the cute doggie is getting hurt.

      • Dina says:

        Scroll button. Bam.

      • Xaqtly says:

Yes, clearly you were forced to look at this photo, read the caption, and then comment here at gunpoint. The only “responsibility” here is your own. And don’t even try to pass off dogfighting as some hippie fueled fantasy. If you don’t think dogs are getting maimed, crippled, tortured and killed every single day because of dogfighting, you are the one who needs to do the research.

        Don’t be ignorant.

      • Steph says:

Do you believe everything in the news though? You must keep in mind that the writes of the news have opinions too and sometimes let it bleed into their work. And it’s not just an issue of “aw it’s cute and getting hurt” it’s so much bigger. Its the fact that dog fighting doesn’t have harsh enough punishments, that the dog breeds forced to fight are now getting a bad reputation, and so on.

  20. TheSaintOfPain says:

I’ve had the pleasure of having many pits in my life, and I can tell you they are some of the most intelligent and sweet animals that I have ever made a part of the family. It just makes me sick to my stomach when I hear about some heartless and soulless a-holes that think to profit off of things like dog fighting, or breeding them as drug dealers’ dogs, and it makes me want to do very bad things to those vile creatures that I can’t even call humans that would probably make Satan tell me to chill out.

And to those who are whining like little babies about this not being funny: Not everything in life is funny, and a lot of the time, things need to be said, and they either can’t or shouldn’t be “clever” or “funny.” If you want funny all the time, go elsewhere, because some of us are actually grown-up human beings that understand those sorts of things, and know that not everything is the way we want it, just because we want it that way.

tl;dr: Dog fighting is terrible; whining about things not being funny is stupid.

  21. Giners says:

No amount of money could ever EVER make me want to fight my pit. She is the sweetest dog I have ever met. The only dog I’ve ever had that’s gotta be within 5 feet of someone at all times or she gets lonely. She shows nothing but affection towards people and even other animals. They’re not fighters, they’re lovers.

    • katrina says:

God Bless you and yours!I think your dog sounds wonderful. It has to be because of how it is raised. You sound like you really love her and that makes you a great person in my book.I love pits(I love all dogs really)I have all Yorkshire Terriers myself.5 total.all fixed and rescued lovingly. They are my babies.what is your pits name?My dogs are:Precious, taco, nacho, sassy and angel baby.Sassy was a big rescue from a puppy mill she has no teeth and has arthritis and was bread to near death she is very old and when she goes I will loose a BIG piece of my heart.when my yorkies are gone to heaven I want to rescue a pit they have a heart of gold if they are treated right.Iwant a brindle color one but definitely one i can rescue.Pits have a bad wrap definitly.I live in MO.and dog fighting is bad here any small dog can be snatched up and thrown in the ring to be used to train fighting dogs so I keep a CLOSE eye on my babies WE live near some people who fight dogs(can’t prove it though)I hope that they see the error of their ways before God finds it for them.GOD BLESS YOU!! you give your baby girl a hug for me.Nice to meet you signed a fellow dog lover forever!!!

      • Giners says:

Thank you, she is wonderful. Hell my cats are meaner than she has ever thought of being lol. Her name is O.G. She’s about 7 or 8 months old. So still a baby, granted a big baby. She’s reverse brindle. She’s the sweetest little cuddler. She gets hugs and kisses all the time, and she always returns em lol.

  22. Tuttifruttigirl says:

    So true…

  23. thedogismine says:

I met lots of pits in my time and none of them has ever bared their teeth at me. Such lovable puppers!!!

Hey, a LOL can also make you think. It’s possible people. Damn….

  24. popeminda says:

Why don’t we stop blaming the breed and start blaming irresponsible owners? If you treat a dog decently, it won’t be vicious/agressive. There are lots of Pit Bull breed rescue groups out there – you can adopt a purebred Pit Bull and save a face like the one in this pic. I have one, and she’s a sweetheart.

  25. Pugiron says:

Proof that all Philly Eagles fans are drunken, retarded a-holes raising their kids to be horrible abominations against humanity. Death to Michael Vick via being fed to starving pigs.

    • Giners says:

Um excuse me, just because Michael Vick is on the Eagles does not mean all Eagles fans are drunken retarded aholes. I love my pit with all my heart, and would never fight her, and would never teach my children (if I had any) to fight dogs. Your statement is unfounded.

    • Sane Person says:

Um…. I agree on Vick. He should be kicked out of the NFL, ruined, and forced into a prison cell for the rest of his miserable life. (I don’t think that much of the Eagles either.) Pit Bulls and any other dog, really, don’t EVER deserve to kill each other for the owners’ amusement. There could hardly be a breed less deserving to dogfight (that would have such ability) than those big furry teddy bears. But really- writing off an entire team and all its fans just because of one person who got hired? That’s low.

  26. Gypsie Rose says:

I had a pit and he was the BIGGEST mush bucket I even had. This big boy would get up on my lap and DEMAND to be cradled like a baby. Why big dogs think they are small I have no clue but I just laughed and laughed when he did. He was a BIG boy when he stood on his hind feet he reached at least 5 feet. He wasn’t pure bred and we think mixed with a great dane but he was a pit anyone could see that. His name was Bear but I hadda call him TEDDY BEAR because he was so sweet. My brother wanted to FIGHT him ffs! My mother told him HELL NO (thank god). Sadly he passed away a long time ago. We found him on the street, actually these mean ass brainless wonder kids had him. We were moving so we took him with us. We went back to get the rest of our stuff they place got broken into. All was good for Bear though he had a warm dry place unlike what they gave him. He passed on in early 2001. I still think of him and cry a little. I believe he still protects the family some how.

Pits are sweet and loving when treated right.

  27. yvonne says:

It sickens me how people can be so cruel and heartless to an innocent animal . Animal cruelty is on an all time high … how atrocious . People like that are the reason I like animals more than most people .

  28. neotifa says:

    that’s because im ginger.

  29. Ian says:

Maybe a good idea for all of us to start donating to appropriate charities, and start putting our money where our mouths are

  30. Cowdogwah says:

Please, please help and encourage (and donate!11!) your local animal cruelty investigators–they have some of the toughest jobs in the world, see things tht would rip my heart out, and go back to work the next day to try to make things better. Thanks to the rescue peeps, too.
I have a half-pit, half-boxer I scraped up off the street. He’s so old now, even his eyelashes are white. What a snuggle-bunnie sweetie.

  31. Jstfyd says:

    Deep. Loved it.

  32. Ezzie says:

I agree, its so sad to see such sweet dogs like this get forced to do dog fights. I think my dog (who looks pretty much identical to this one) was forced to be in a dog fight once, but she’s a sweety pie.

  33. Jessica says:

Hang on…isn’t this a Staffordshire Terrier? My boy is a staffie and he looks just like this…anyway, irrelevant, cause they get fought too…my boy is a rescue ex-fighting dog, covered in fleas, skinny as and cowering away from humans when we first got him, now he is just the biggest sook you could ever imagine!

  34. Julie Clayton-West says:

    Well done! I completely agree.

  35. Julie says:

I agree that this is not funny. But sometimes a statement so gut wrenchingly true just has to be made.

Whoever made this brave statement, please know that I am behind you 100%!

  36. Staffy owner says:

Loved it and as others have said not everything in life is funny and sometimes things need to be said. Instead of whining that it isn’t funny get off your rear and donate to help stop Dog Fighting, then this kind of caption will no longer be needed!

I have a Staffordshire Bull Terrier, and some clueless waste of oxygen had tried to force him to fight, my boy doesn’t have a nasty bone in his body so he was dumped. Fortunately he now has a home with me where he is loved and cared for and has a doggy friend to play with and cuddle up to.

  37. GIGITY says:

Adopted a pit as a 15 week old puppy from the SPCA. She was a scared sick little thing. Now, I can’t imagine life without her. She is such a mush face! At 60 lbs she sleeps on our bed and HAS to come in the middle when we go to sleep. Sure, she’ll move later but there is such a contented sigh when she beds down with her people. She is so harmless she would lick you to death before she ever raised a lip in threat. Honestly, for the most part, it’s not the dogs. It’s how you treat them… Kind of like with people…Imagine that.

    • x says:

Hi 5 for getting dog from rescue place. :)

    • Alejandro says:

you mean ASPCA right? good for you for adopting them! i dont care what anyone says (cuz im a guy) but those animal rescue commercials get me close to tears…i hope EVERY SINGLE person who supports this and any other type of animal cruelty in ANY way, gets whatever it was they did to that animal (those people in Alaska that beat Seals close to death and then leave them there….they should be beat close to death and left to rot! or these dog fighters shuld get ambushed and beat up!)

  38. x says:

Most pitbulls Ive met are lovely and really sociable. They are only violent when they have been abused to make them scared.

  39. Grace says:

We have the sweetest pit! We rescued her last summer. A guy was selling her for drug money! Now she’s got a super-loving home, and she’s the most devoted dog!

She still gets a little freaked out on long car rides. We think she’s afraid she’ll be abandoned. Poor baby!

  40. Alix says:

awww… *smooshy kiss right on that big bumpy head*

now i need to go home and do the same to my APBT. :D

  41. Angela says:

    U Gotz Dat Rite!!!!

  42. Nat says:

Our youngest dog (all 3 are rescues) is a pit bull/whippet mix, she’s got the beautiful grey/tan striping and stand-up ears, but she’s also got the wide face and shoulders like a linebacker. We’ve had her since she was about 2 months old, and the only agression she’s ever shown is to rattlesnakes that were in our backyard and a large lizard that scared her “grandma”. She is a HUGE mush.

  43. Granola Butt says:

Amen to this! It makes me so furious to hear of heartless demons living in human bodies forcing these poor babies to kill each other just so they can make a quick buck. And now certain states are trying to outlaw the breed and assume that will solve the problem. The Marine base near my hometown passed a law last year outlawing pitbulls on the base, and it’s disgusting to me. It’s absolutely taboo for a society to assume Mexicans are lazy or Black people steal, but it’s perfectly okay to assume a dog is vicious just because of its breed. I have never owned a pit bull, but I used to be a dog groomer and I can tell you right now some of the nastiest dogs I ever had to groom were yorkies, chihuahuas and the like, and the sweetest doggies were pitbulls, bulldogs, and retrievers. And yet it’s perfectly okay to let your yappy little wind-up toy nip at anyone and anything who comes within 10 feet of it, while big dogs that are scared for legitimate reasons become discriminated against. One life is not more valuable than another.

  44. Tessa says:

it makes me sad when i hear about dog fights and whats also bad about them if they get taken away from the people who fight them they can be aggressive after and have to be euthanised. :’( when if they wre never taught to b agreesive they could have lived happy normal lives. but love the pic its adorable!

  45. animalsrock says:

Pit Bulls are great dogs. I have one named Maddie. Her original owners had been starving her, probably to make mean for fight purposes. She was rescued, my aunt adopted her and gave her to us and she’s the sweetest puppy ever. She’s white with brown spots on her ears, and the brown on her nose doesn’t stop at the nose, so it looks like she stuck her nose in chocolate pudding. Lil Pudding Nose Doggy :3
