   I’ve actually seen something like that … a friend living near Niles Michigan had a dog that would fetch tree-sized “sticks” — thrown off a 30-foot bank and into the river — and bring them back.

   I had one of her puppies in one hand once, and a stick in the other. She wanted the STICK.
