Yoo gotta lub dem for fur deyr sheer dogged determinayshun.
If only they would use their powers for good!
The sad thing is that I ogirinally wrote the caption, but this version was chosen.
I has a grumpy.
I had that happen too. it sucks.
Not involved with the version thing but if you came up with that caption it is great. Been around labs most of my life (dad who is a vet…..) very clever! Well done!
For whoever’s lab that is, he’s chewing the wall because he’s bored. Take him out more often and get him some exercise. That will be $200 for solving all your puppy problems.
Thank you! I hate people that get Labs and think they are “stupid” and “hyper”. NO they are sporting dogs that need a lot of exercise and attention. If you want a dog that’s just going to sit around the house all day, a lab is NOT for you!
Actually, a lab’s no dog who needs a lot of exercise. Before I bought my own, I talked to a lot of people who breed them and they all told me the same thing: a lab’s a dog who would go to the end of the world with you. But not because he likes walking, just because he wants to be with you. You shouldn’t even take them jogging until they’re at least a year old because it’s really bad for their joints. Generally you shouldn’t jog with them at all, simply taking them for a walk is much better.
So true!!! We raised a Lab/Golden for a service dog organization, and part of the training was to leave them alone for short periods of time… we left him alone for an hour and came back to a hole twice that size.
Hay…if you got a ball, and wud frow it, I cud bring it bak to you…
Wudn’t that be gwate?
Maybe his uman should of given him a hotdog!
Different color lab, same hole in the wall….
He’ll need the services of Dr. Doghouse below him.
That should be in the breed standard
I had a pug and it tore up my walls, chair and table legs.
My lab would chew pieces of brick off of our house at night, and bring them to play fetch the next morning. No amount of play is enough for a lab puppy. At age 15, she finally stopped.
My brother rented a home to a couple with a Great Dane puppy. Dog chewed a hole in the wood floor! I have a Rotti, when it was a pup, I caught it chewing on the wall, too.
I had a yellow lab that did this too. My parents were hiding him in the laundry room the night of christmas eve….they wondered why he was so quiet……lol!
My cousin’s yellow lab ripped 2 pieces of vinyl siding off my aunt’s house yesterday.
My lab is 5 and has never chewed up anything,we go up to the park every day w/a ball and a tennis raquet.you have to run them or they get bored.she will follow me around carrying her ball til I walk out the door.great dogs!!!
Hm, that looks familiar. Lab mix + drywall = feast
My black lab, Angie is 2. We go to the local state park every day for a 3 mile walk and she walks in the water (she does not swim yet). My lab is content to lay on the floor beside me while I am on the computer, or she will sleep on either of couches or the floor if I am busy doing something. She loves her squeaky tennis balls and her wubbas. She is ready to go outside at a moment’s notice if I ask her is she wants to play. So far haven’t had any sort of problems like this with her or my previous lab x.
