Of course not. It was just a way to show a picture of what I meant. My goodness some folks have a lot of free time! I’ve always heard those buses referred to as reticulated, as in “flexible.” I guess all the “articulated” pythons in the world will now have an identity crisis too! Personally I’m going back to enjoying this light-hearted and fun website — the Grammar Police will have to carry on without me.

shepmom, do you seriously use google images as a basis for checking the definition of words?! Just because other people have used the wrong word for those images doesn’t change its meaning. Try looking up reticulated in an actual dictionary.

Nope, sorry guys, “reticulated” is the correct word. Google “reticulated bus picture” and you’ll see what I mean.
