   Am I the only boss, who would actually try to understand my employee, by asking him for his honest views, and think that it’s my fault, if someone thinks of me as being an idiot?
   A competent boss is one, who has the respect of his employees, because he deserves it! Not because he enforces is.
   Everybody else is just incompetent idiots that got lucky to get into a powerful position, or that got there by treating others like crap. Others who let someone do this to them.

     You’d think, thought, that a boss like you wouldn’t have people using epithets like “idiot.” They’d have articulate complaints. (Unless they’re the idiots, in which case trying to “understand” them would be a waste of *your* time.)
