Ohai! I’ve no connection to this picture’s photographer, but as the caption’s author, I’m bemused by the attention this lol is getting. I’m primarily a cat person (~dodges arrows~), so someone had to tell me this lol “made it” to ihasahotdog.

I’ve noticed teh lolspeak is nawt as well uzed on loldogs… but I spend a lot more time on lolcats and awlmost eberybunneh uzes it there

This is my photo of my dog Penny and my cat Loman. They are both rescues. I have had Loman since he was a kitten and Penny since she was about three, by the vet’s best guess. They are both just over four now. They are very close. They also both really like cantalope.

Ah, mpoggio! “At last we meet.” Always nice to know the background. My cousin has/had such a pair. Alas, Willi [the barker brother, er sister actually] is no more. I’ll post their picture[s] if my cousin permits.
It always fascinates me when animals transcend their traditional aggressive tendencies. To say they are not still latent begs credulity, hence one inspiration for the caption. Primary motivation is less complicated: goofing on a common ICHC/lolcats theme.
Then as payback the dog chases the cat around the entire world – 35 times – and then sendz the cat on a plane to syberia! it is cute though, as is a mouse and cat together as friends (if they met when young, that is, otherwise it’s war!)
