If you adopt a rescue bullie (which, in my humble opinion, you SHOULD), you won’t pay anywhere near that much & you will bring a ton (literally,LOL) of love to your life. Yes, they tend to have health issues, but they are SO sweet & silly!!

Got $2000? That’s just the cost of the puppy. Then figure $1000 to $2000 per year for vet bills/special diet/etc.

I love the breed, I’ve had two. Never again. And it’s not so much the money – it’s a lot of other reasons but mostly it just breaks your heart when you lose them at 8 or 9 (most bulldogs are not very long lived – average is 8 to 10 years).
