Last year, my Mom gave me some sponge candy and some fancy dinner rolls to take home after Christmas dinner. I left them on the kitchen table when I went to bed that night. The next morning, no candy, no rolls, wrappers and bags strewn through the house. My Rottie had his own fancy Christmas dinner.

I had a GSD like that too. You came into the house and confronted a huge, ferocious looking gaurd dog barking its head off. Five minutes later your new best freind was asking for scratches.

I have a German Shepard that freaks people out, too. But once he rolls over and does his little “love me” noises, everyone warms up to him.

the cocker spaniel I had growing up once ate a whole ham, too. It just disappeared, and we couldn’t figure out what happened to it. A couple of days later, we found the wrapper under his hiding-tree.

Huskies! You gotta love ‘em. Wally, a big gray husky, once ate the ham we had for Easter in the time it took to put the rest of the food on the table. We came in to the counter and there was the platter, minus the ham. He was sitting in the corner looking oh-so-nonchalant. Another time he ate a dozen dinner roles. Sibes are just unapologetic counter surfers!

My husky got an entire bag of Reese’s Christmas bells off the counter once and ate them all, including the wrappers. I was sure she was gonna die, but fortunately she was fine. But give her one of those marrow bone things and its the big D everywhere.

She got an entire meal off the counter once, and ate a whole stick of butter one time, too. By the way, this is the same dog as the rear view mirror picture, the one that looks so evil and angry. She really is a huge sweetie.
