By stating ‘God’ and ‘Amen’ you’ve already pointed out that it’s of either a Christian, Catholic, Jewish etc. faith, all of which say Man has a soul and animals do not, and that one cannot enter the afterlife without one.

If they were praying to a Hindu deity, it would make alot more sense.

Who cares about mention of a deity? Mention all the deities, big deal. But why would an obviously xtian caption have dogs praying to a deity that denies that they have souls and won’t let them in to their afterlife? Makes no sense.
