    That is a young Great Dane. Beautiful, huh ? Very loveable but with a BIG bark to scare away anyone. Huge paws that they love to rest on your shoulders while they lick your face and/or knock you down. Then they just continue licking and loving.

    Ah Bark Collars. Fail to train your dog, fail to give it any exercise, and decide that giving it electrical shocks when it misbehaves is the best solution to the problems YOU created.

      maybe not as bad as you think – i had them on my dogs, too, growing up – but you can set them just to buzz, and not zap. We just trained them to get away when it buzzed.

        Buzz collars (they vibrate like a mobile phone on “silent” setting) are quite useful to train a deaf dog, I understand. Particulary on the recall, which is otherwise virtually impossible. Maybe this Dane, who looks splendidly well cared for to me, is hard of hearing.

    My MisMarked Black Mantle Great Dane with a tone collar on. Chaos is walked nearly a mile every day except when over 85 degrees and loves his deck and big back yard. He also loves his Lab playmates and all 4 of his kitty playmates. The 2 baby Maine Coons are afraid of him yet as he does bark very loudly.
    I care deeply about all of my babies and take offense to those of you who judge when you don’t know ANY details. Perhaps you should ask before passing judgement and showing yourself to be the asshole.

    Hey, dis is mai picture! Mai babies luk sooo cute. I thought this was LOLCat’s not HATEFULCats. Please do not pass judgement on my family when you do not know the circumstances that you are so quick to pass judgement on. Especially when you use cuss words, that is not nice for young people to see. And there is nothing wrong with a tone collar, it is not hurting him.
