  2. MiniMoppel says:

Hoomiliatd dogs will lazr u to deth nau!

    • The L says:

Seconded. I can understand holiday outfits for dogs, but not pajamas. They have fur coats built in!

      • lurker says:

dey is greyhunds. dey need soft blankies to nap on or dey get hurt. soft pajamas work too.

      • A. says:

Greyhounds have very thin coats and very little body fat. If their hoomin keeps the howse chilly, I bet they like their nice warm jammies.

      • That Hippie Chick says:

        ….
iz yu crzy? dat’s prakticly animul abyoos. ai meen, holiday owtfits iz bad enuff on hoomins.

        • Emm says:

I dogsat for my neighbor’s greyhound. He needed a super-thick bed and pajamas (made kinda like a horse blanket; he has arthritis) to keep him warm during the winter, and that was inside a house. I didn’t leave him outside for long, even in the Southern winter.

  3. Jane says:

I bet this is not a ‘staged’ picture but it is winter and they are keeping the doggehs warm!

  4. Shalamar says:

Greyhounds. A some greyhound owners will put PJ’s on their dogs at night during the winter. Greyhounds have Thin skin, thin fut, and very low body fat. They don’t endure the cold well. Dressing up the dogs for the night is a good way to keep happy, healthy greyhounds.

  5. D.R. says:

I gots mah teddy bear and my blankey all set!

  6. FadedLY says:

These dog suits look simply ridiculous!

I can understand it if they have some sort of skin condition or it’s cold in the house and they sleep better, but otherwise… that’s just silly!

  7. mellen3159 says:

I spit my drink on my key board when i saw this! LOL.

  8. mittens77 says:

wow reely? coolness i dwink moutian dew yummy and peeple need a better way tu entertayn demselfs

  9. kata says:

Jane is right — these are greyhounds, which have very little fur and very little body fat. In a chilly climate, they need some help staying warm at night! (But they can look adorable with or without the PJs.)

  10. bluesfan473 says:

ai wants a glass uv wadder tew! an reed teh pokey lil puppeh, kay?

  11. Cowdogwah says:

  13. Gryffenne says:

Yup. I own a grey that loves her PJs in the winter. When it’s cold at night i have 2 choices. Either put her PJs on her… or be prepared to wake up with the covers OFF me, wrapped around her and I am almost off the bed from her snuggling for body heat LOL

  14. Cindie says:

Would love to know where they got the jammies for their greyhound. My daughter has one and I would get him a pair.

    • MeiTow says:

Me too! I looked all winter for greyhound-sized full pajamas (could only find ones for Iggys) because it gets rather chilly in our house in the winter even with the heat set at 72.

As for what others have said: Yes, greys need help keeping warm in the winter. With thin skin, an extremely short coat (and most greys don’t even have fur on their bellies and butts), and little to no body fat, they have trouble keeping themselves warm. The rules is…if you need an extra layer, so do they!

      • Riversong says:

Look up the forum Greytalk and then go to their Pet merchandise section. Many owners on that forum also make jammies.

  15. me? says:

More like “lazers armed, awaiting your orders”

  16. systemfreak says:

those are seriously the most hideous things i have ever seen. i feel sorry for those dogs. but, in all aspects, tho, it is pretty cute.

    • Riversong says:

I think an 80 pound greyhound curled up in a tight little ball shivering is more hideous than one that is toasty warm.

  17. Marvin says:

Since no one has said it, I guess I will. These are Greyhounds. Greyhounds have Thin skin, thin fut, and very low body fat. They don’t endure the cold well. Dressing up the dogs for the night is a good way to keep happy, healthy greyhounds.

    • darling1982 says:

Yay for LOL greyhounds! Needle Nose Apparel has custom made PJs. They made a wonderful winter coat for my grey, Buckley.

  18. Mark says:

Those are my pups. They are Mo and Lillie. Though I can’t take full credit/blame for their fashion choices, we adopted them in December and they froze their butts off until we got their jammies. We only put them on when it’s really cold, which doesn’t happen much in Texas. They also have rain coats for when it’s cold and rainy.

  19. tajto says:

aww greyhounds needs sweaturz when is coldy. because dey bred in egypt where is hot.
