    Don’t know how to feel about this new acquisition/partnership/whatever. I used to love Fail Dogs (my own late, intellectually-challenged husky Shadow is featured there on 4/3/08) but after a while the humor got really mean. I stopped going when a photo of a homeless guy hugging his big dog got labeled a “FAIL.” Others hit the same wall around the same time and the comment threads got pretty contentious about these sorts of issues: I guess I can’t blame the ICHC folk for deleting all the comments from the old FD threads, because funny was the last thing you’d call them.

    If those guys cashed in and buggered off under the terms of this deal, then bully for them; hope they’re pleased with themselves and they can go kick puppies somewhere where I don’t have to watch. If they are now employees of the ICHC network with any form of editorial contribution, then… funny fail in 3, 2…

      Hi Michelle, this is Ben from ICHC. We took over the operations of the site and decided that we wanted to make it a fun place for animals, not what it used to be. Also, I wouldn’t say that anyone got rich in this deal. It was a small site with lots of potential, so we agreed to take it over.

        Well I have to say, my first reaction was that I didn’t want to see any of my dogs featured on that site.
        It’s probably very amusing though, if you really hate dogs.
