my goggie loves to run in our pond muck.

at least he did… he got run over by a car monday. they amutated his right rear leg yesterday. he’s a very damaged pup.

poor goggie… he loved to run… now he’s a tricycle. he’ll run again someday.

so sorry to hear that. hope he does well.

so sorry to hear that – but you’ll be surprised how well he gets around as a tripod. Animals just get on with things as they are. We oculd learn a lot from them.

Flip, I am so very sorry you and your Family has had go through this.
I did learn when I was assistant to surgical assist in a vet clinic for a few years that dogs come with 3 legs and a spare. In not too long your FurBaby should be zoomin’ around like nothing happened! Some even learn some pretty amazing tricks that will have you holding your sides laughing! I remember one pup that had to have his left rear leg amputated and it had always been his RIGHT leg that he lifted to widdle. That didn’t change! So to widdle he merely did it on two FRONT legs! Our babies are AMAZING little beings and I am sure that you will find your baby keeps amazing you just like before, only more so :-)

My very best of good thoughts go out to your baby and the whole family :-)
    Mary
