The owners are stupid! I had a puppy die like this when I wasn’t home one day, the exact same way! People, if the bowl is deep enough for their muzzle to go into and low enough for them to lay in, get a new bowl or help the dog!!!!
Some people are just stupid and should have their dogs taken away, not encouraged by others saying it’s cute!!

Good grammer? You’re one to talk. Learn to use question marks, please. And please don’t use colons and semi-colons unless you actually know how to use them; your last sentence doesn’t even parse correctly. A comma would have been more than sufficient. Also, see Wikipdeia’s handy guide to Weasel Words

Also, kids are not stupid and can in fact tell the difference between a site with pictures of ungrammatical cats and a situation where spelling is required. The problem is lazy teachers and lazier parents who don’t actually teach them the latter.

I absolutely agree with you. I love looking at the pictures, but the crazy spelling annoys me no end. Just imagine the kids who are looking at this site. What do they learn from it. Correct spelling and good grammar would make a tremendous improvement; especially to me and many others I would safely say.

I agree. It didn’t look like he was in any real danger, and people would notice if their puppy was drowning. I doubt he would be so serene and his owners wouldn’t allow him to continue to go back to sleep in the same spot if he was drowning. And besides, he wasn’t inhaling water, he sneezed and got it out every time he came close.

On another note, that is one cute puppy! I just want to snuggle him and let him sleep somewhere a little less wet.

It’s not that cruel. o_O I don’t think he was in any danger. It looks like he belongs a breeder and most breeders do know what they’re doing; I doubt they would let him fall asleep in the water if there was a chance of him being in denger of dying.
And his nose never went under water. The breath did make bubbles because the nose was CLOSE to the water, but I never saw the nose hit the surface.

Then, I guess we’ve had two abnormal puppies. Both GSDs, they loved to go to sleep with their heads and front paws on or in their water dish. Inside, in the cool. (No, we didn’t leave them like that or take videos…) They outgrew the sleeping part, fortunately, but they still love to keep their front paws wet (being long-haired, I’m not surprised), which makes for a lot of muddy paw prints when we bring them in!

Puppy is probably only in the water because it’s hot out; normal puppies don’t fall asleep in their water. They need to take him inside where it’s cool and he can rest comfortably.
