• We’ll pick 5 finalists based equally on both creativity and originality, and out of those 5 finalists, IHAH users get to vote to select the top 3 winners.
• You must be a legal US resident and 18 years of age or older to participate. (Sorry ebberyone else)

• ONCE YOU SUBMIT YOUR ENTRY, IT BECOMES THE PROPERTY OF PET HOLDINGS, INC. (“Sponsor”)

• Eligibility:
The “Marley Has A Mischief” Contest (“Contest”) is open to individuals who are legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia who are 18 years of age or older. Employees of Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment LLC (“Fox”), Sponsor and their respective parent companies, franchisees, partners, retailers, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, printing suppliers and any other individual or company involved in the development or execution of the Contest and the immediate families (spouse, parents, children, siblings, and their respective spouses) and household members of each such employees, are not eligible to play or win. This Contest is subject to all applicable federal, state, provincial, and local laws and regulations. By participating, you agree to these Official Rules and to the decisions of the independent judges whose decisions are final and binding in all respects. Sponsor reserves the right to verify eligibility qualifications of the winners. Fox is a partial prize provider only and is not responsible for any aspect of the Contest, including but not limited to the collection, submission, processing or judging of entries, the administration of the Contest, selection of winners or prize fulfillment.

• How to Submit Entries: Contest begins at 12:01 A.M. Pacific Daylight Time April 2, 2009 and entries may be made until 11:59 P.M. Pacific Daylight Time April 10, 2009 (“Entry Period”). During the Entry Period, email a photo as an attachment, or a video as an attachment, or link to a publicly available video owned by you in compliance with these Rules (“Entry”) to ihasahotdog+marley@gmail.com. By emailing your Entry , you agree that your Entry conforms to the Entry Guidelines and Content Restrictions as defined below (collectively, the “Guidelines and Restrictions”).

• Entry Guidelines: The Entry must meet the following guidelines:
o The Entry must comply with Ihasahotdog.com Terms of Use, located at http://icanhascheezburger.com/terms-of-use/; and
o The Entry cannot have been submitted previously in a contest of any kind sponsored, co-sponsored, administrated or hosted by Sponsor or exhibited or displayed publicly through any means previously.
o Content Restrictions: The Entry must meet the following content restrictions:
o The Entry must not contain material that violates or infringes another person’s rights, including but not limited to privacy, publicity or intellectual property rights, or that constitutes copyright infringement;
o Entrant has full consent from any person whose image is included in the Entry;
o The Entry must not contain brand names or trademarks;
o The Entry must consist solely of material created by entrant;
o The Entry must not contain material that is hateful, tortious, defamatory, slanderous or libelous;
o The Entry must not contain material that promotes bigotry, racism, hatred or harm against any group or individual or promotes discrimination based on race, sex, religion, nationality, disability, sexual orientation or age, or that is designed to annoy or harrass;
o The Entry must be suitable for audiences of all ages and be consistent with Sponsor’s and Fox’s reputations in the marketplace, including their reputations for quality and integrity; and
o The Entry must not contain material that is unlawful, in violation of or contrary to the laws or regulations in any state where Entry is created. (collectively “Content Restrictions”)

• For all Entries: Failure of any Entry to comply with the above Guidelines and Restrictions, as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion, may result in the deletion of the Entry and disqualification from the Contest. No Entry will be acknowledged or returned. Sponsor shall have the right to delete, edit, adapt and publish any or all of the Entries, and may use them in any media without attribution or compensation to the entrant, his/her successors or assigns, or any other entity. ENTERING AN ENTRY IN THIS CONTEST CONSTITUTES AN IRREVOCABLE, ROYALTY-FREE WORLDWIDE LICENSE TO SPONSOR TO REPRODUCE AND DISPLAY THE ENTRY, OR ANY DERIVATIVE THEREOF, IN ALL MEDIA NOW KNOWN OR HEREAFTER DEVISED, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, THE INTERNET, IN PERPETUITY. Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, invalid, un-intelligible or misdirected Entries. Such Entries are void and will be disqualified. Sponsor, in its sole discretion, may feature any Entry submitted in this Contest at any time during, or after, the Contest Period on any related websites, in any promotional materials, whether related or unrelated to the Contest, and at any other location, whether physical or online, that Sponsor, in its sole discretion, deems appropriate for the operation and promotion of this Contest.

• Limit: Each entrant may submit an unlimited number of Entries during the Entry Period. Use of any automated system to participate is prohibited and will result in disqualification. In the event of a dispute as to any registration, the authorized account holder of the email address used to register for an account will be deemed to be the registrant or player. The “authorized account holder” is the natural person assigned an email address by an Internet access provider, online service provider or other organization responsible for assigning email addresses for the domain associated with the submitted address. Each potential winner may be required to show proof of being the authorized account holder. Sponsor cannot accurately predict the number of Entries which will be made to the Contest.

• Judging of Entries: At the end of the Entry Period, qualified judges selected by Sponsor in its sole discretion (the “Judges”) will select the top 5 Entries (“Finalist Entries”) based on the following criteria (“Judging Criteria”): 50% originality and 50% fit with the theme.
• Voting: Beginning at 12:01 A.M. Pacific Daylight Time April 13, 2009 until 5:00 P.M. Pacific Daylight Time April 15, 2009 (“Voting Period” and collectively with Entry Period, “Contest Period”), Participants may vote for their favorite Finalist Entry. You may vote only once during the Voting Period. Any votes deemed fraudulent by Sponsor shall be disqualified and excluded from the vote tally. At the end of the Voting Period, the 3 Finalist Entries receiving the highest number of eligible votes will be declared the 1st, 2nd and 3rd Place Winners. In the event of a tie, the Finalist Entry with the higher originality score will be declared the winner.

• Representations and Warranties by Entrant: By submitting an Entry the participant warrants he or she own all copyrights to the Entry and that (i) the Entry complies with the Terms of Use and these Rules, including without limitation all Guidelines and Restrictions and Content Restrictions; (ii) the Entry does not infringe the copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, right of privacy, right of publicity or other legal right of any third party; and (iii) the Entry complies with all applicable laws, rules, and regulations; (iv) there are no claims, demands or any form of litigation pending or threatened with respect to any Entry; (v) neither Sponsor or Fox will be required to make any payments to any third party in connection with its use of any Entry; (v) each entrant shall indemnify and defend both the Sponsor and Fox against any and all claims or causes of action arising out of any of any of the foregoing representations and warranties.

• Prizes:

o 2nd Place: DVD release of the motion picture “Marley & Me” and $100 gift certificate to Cafepress.com.
o 3rd Place: DVD release of the motion picture “Marley & Me” and $50 gift certificate to Cafepress.com

• Prize Conditions:
1) All taxes and expenses not specified here are the sole responsibilities of the winner; 2) prizes are non-transferable; and 3) no prize substitutions are allowed. Winner of the Contest will be required to complete and return (within 10 days of written notification) an Affidavit of Eligibility and Liability/Publicity Release. Failure to comply with the 10-day time period may result in disqualification and an alternate winners elected.

• Winner’s Entry submission and acceptance of the prize offered constitutes permission (except where prohibited) for the Sponsor to use said winner’s name, photograph, likeness, statements, biographical information, voice and address (city and state), in all forms of media worldwide, in perpetuity, without limitation, notice or further compensation.

• In the event of a printing or production-related error, neither Sponsor, Fox, nor their respective advertising/ promotions agencies, participating retailers, nor their respective parent, subsidiary or affiliated entities, agents or suppliers shall have any liability. In no event shall more prizes be awarded than the number stated in the “Prizes” section above. All federal, state and local taxes are the sole responsibility of winner. Acceptance of prize constitutes permission to the Sponsor and its agencies to use winners’ names and/or likeness for advertising and publicity purposes, without further compensation, except where prohibited by law. By participating, the entrant agrees to release, defend, hold harmless and indemnify the Sponsor, Fox, and their respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, directors, officers, employees and agents against any and all liability, damages claims or causes of action (however named or described), with respect to or arising out of entrant’s participation in this Contest, and/or the receipt, use or misuse of the prizes awarded herein.

• The same Terms of Use of the site apply to this Contest.

• Upon the conclusion of the Contest, we will use the contact information provided with the original winning entry in the form of the reply-to field. If you do not respond by email within 3 days, you will be disqualified and we’ll move on to the next winner.
