Actually, dogs, like humans are omnivores. They eat vegetables & fruit regularly as part of their diets in the wild. My dogs love strawberries, bananas and lots of other fruits, and vegetables too. So really, this lol is inaccurate.

Cats on the other hand are carnivores and don’t like most vegetables but will eat some voluntarily. Had a cat once who loved corn and have never met one that didn’t like potato.

Yeah. Despite what some people think, dogs, cats, and humans can get all of the nutrition they need from a vegetarian/vegan diet. Also, it really reduces the risk of canine and feline obesity. =)

It’s always nice to see other vegetarians/vegans. And though my kitty still noms on regular cat food, if I could afford it I’d definetly get her the vegan 100% nutritionally complete stuff. The only thing is I hear cats tend to be more finicky about going vegan than dogs.. Meh.

I’m vegetarian, too and my cats get regular cat food – although the smell tends to knock me out socks sometimes…

My household is a vegan household, and my dogs eat vegan food. They love it. Now, what they dig up outside in the back yard is an entirely different story.
