Our Dachshund was able to scare away any cat that came near our house / backyard.
If one started a fight he would most likely break its neck. He got some injuries from cats, though…

Not necessarily. I had a 100lb black lab who was intimidated by the cat his whole life!

I doubt it. Most of the dogs I know have great respect for a fully armed cat. It’s the not the size of the dog in the fight. It’s the size of the fight in the dog. Or cat.

Considering one my families cats has enough brass (despite being female) to chase a full grown Labrador out of the yard for good, I wouldn’t be too sure of that.
