    I once saw this big ginger cat curled up in a chair. Then his housemate, a smooth black and tan dachshund, jumped up in the chair too. The dachshie head butted the cat, and he moved over to make room for her. But she went right on head butting him. The cat obligingly curled himself up in a smaller and smaller ball to accommodate the wiener dog-but she kept on head butting him. Finally the cat realized the dachshund wasn’t saying,”Move over; I want to sit her too”; she was saying,”Get up-I want this entire chair to myself”. So the cat snarled at the dog, jumped down, and stalked away visibly annoyed-and the dachshund settled down in the chair with so palpable an air of triumph I wanted to smack her.
    No animal on earth is a selfish as a Small Cute Dog, and dachshunds are the absolute worst ! :-D
