Unbelievable as it sounds, those dogs were meant to hunt badgers. They can handle a crab. Maybe.
I have 3 of these little dogs and a crab would be “business as usual” for these ferocious little beasts. But then like evertide says they were bred to hunt badgers. Badgers are really hard animals.
Is super big crab tho. I wouldn’t take the chance. xD
They were NOT bred to hunt badgers.
Well, obviously not the minis (which I’m assuming the dog in the picture is), but the standards were most definitely bred to hunt badgers – hence the name ‘Badger Dog’.
And I’m fairly certain this isn’t one of those misnomers that occur with certain breed names like with Great Danes that actually originated in Germany, not Denmark…
