     Not to be an ass (because you are right, fundamentally) but greyhounds can have cropped tails too (they are often cropped when they are too badly broken). The better argument here would have been the ears as no greyhound has pointer ears.

     Not to be mean here (because you are, fundamentally, correct) but greyhounds can also have cropped tails. They are often cropped when they have been badly broken (quite easily done when whipped in a frenzy against a house wall as they are thin and fragile, like most of the rest of the dog…lol). A better argument would have been the ears as greyounds have rose ears, not pointer-type ears.
