  3. Jacques says:

this would be a lot less threatening if you saw this sign when the dog was only a few feet from the fence.

  4. Brainz says:

I can pop a cap on you from outside the fence ):

    • El Vis says:

the sloped back is a common breed trait, and the foot in that position only looks weird because it’s 2D.

    • DogTrainer says:

No, a grossly sloped back is only a breed trait here in America, where we have destroyed the breed’s function for the much coveted “flying trot”. In Europe this style of GSD is greatly frowned on. That’s why that particular sign is not in my collection of GSD stuff, its a hella ugly dog. That’s why law enforcement agencies only use european line dogs, the American show style has been bred too crippled to work, even if they had the nerve, which they don’t.

I have a tall male 4 yr old (altered) GSD without a sloped back and I could never afford an import -he is our 3rd GSD over the last 16 yr-I would love to have an import-so far there have been no hip problems and he also has a beautiful
trot but not as as good as the imports-I just had to put my 2 cents worth in-
I have Knut posted on my profile page on eons-
And I do agree with you-

  11. Silence says:

Um yeah… that fence looks like it won’t keep him from jumping it either. It’s probably more to keep humans out rather than keeping that awesome dog in, lol.

  12. 2kissy2 says:

yoo! GOOGIE!!! yah ai can getz to teh fenz b4 u, so der! Den ai show u da powr of teh point. wut mai point? ai haz meny, call dem clawz. *corse, ai will stay on dis heer side of fenz* :p pffffft

  13. terrio says:

If this sign asks me, I’m already standing at the fence. So, yes, i can make it^^

  14. crazyboarderchic says:

Beautiful dog..sloped or not. My GSD is of American and European lines and poses naturally and beautifully straight backed or sloped. He slopes of his own accord and it is not “ugly” by any means. Give the dogs their due, it is not always taught and not just the “American” lines show it.
