  8. esther says:

Omg! For realz. I totally agree. One time i was feeling sad and the dog show came on and seeing the cute puppies made me feel better :)

  9. Orangutan says:

Truth. Nothing like coming home from a rough day and seeing your dogs standing there at the top of the stairs, radiating *JOYJOYHE’SHOMEHE’SHOMEJOY* at you to chase the blues away. :)

  10. Bob says:

    I am addicted to corgi!

  11. Jo & The Zoo says:

    Isn’t THAT the truth?
I’m taking care of my neighbor’s dog while she’s away & Gabriel responds with what we call his “Happy-happy-puppy-dance.”
Nothin’ like a pet as an anti-depressant!

  12. chrisbg99 says:

One of the best things about going home is that my family’s dogs greeting me when I go inside. They are so excited to see me you’d have never seen a person for weeks.

  13. Cairis says:

CORGI!!! I know what you mean.. I love coming home and my Ein-puppy starts bouncing around because he’s happy to see me!! .. that or he needs to go outside..
either way it makes a bad day better.. :)

  14. NicMan says:

  15. baw says:

    The Queen agrees.

  16. futurevet says:

Corgis… best happiness-inducer ever! Definitely addictive, though. Snuggling with mine is a cure for just about anything. (Good thing my boyfriend isn’t too jealous!) :-)

  17. Green Is Good says:

Corgi love. The best doggie love ever? Possibly. Corgis slay me with their blatant cuteness!

  18. DaffySaffy says:

So jealous of all of you who have dogs! I live on my own, and am out at work all day, so I can’t have a dog, it wouldn’t be fair on the poor creature (unless anyone can recommend a breed of dog that’s actually quite misanthropic. . .? Thought not!). But yeah, I’m with Lucy van Pelt on this one: happiness is a warm puppy!

I know it’s a bit late, but I just saw your comment. Sheba Inus can be pretty independent; they don’t tend to be big cuddlers, so they may be ok on their own longer. Though my dog does alright even when I work a 9.5 hour shift, and he’s corgi/chihuahua. Just so long as it’s an adult, not a puppy.

  19. Phil says:

    CORGI!!!!

  20. Aeneas says:

    So true…

Once, I was really down one day, and a group at my university’s student center had brought out a bunch of pit bulls from the local animal shelter because people are often afraid to adopt them, so they wanted to show people how great they can be…

They were awesome and cheered me up nearly instantly. I wish I could afford to take care of a dog.

  21. Sylmenya says:

I think Corgis have the happiest puppy faces! I’m glad my dog got his face from his Corgi half; his happy expression always cheers me up!

  22. Mark says:

Having a pet does cheer you up. I love coming home and seeing my 2 cats and my dog (Rottweiler/German Shephard mix) come to the door to greet me. Makes me forget about my troubles, especially when the cats decide to follow me to my bedroom and curl up with me.
