     I see the cage in the picture.
     I see some garbage chewed up.
     I see no funiture damage.
     I see a very attentive dog.
     This is how the dog shows his frustration for being alone. The lack of furniture damage is proof that the dog has respect for his owner. The garbage can that was emptied, in the door way to make sure you notice, is a communication attempt to say that he / she doen’t like being left along for so long. This is why people that understand animals and people, pair them off in couples.
     This poor pup needs some company and feels guilty, confused and glad you’re home.
     What a sweetheart. I bet she gets in your way when you walk and nearly trips you and is eager to be trained.

       Hey. Thanks for the novel of a comment and for your concern over a dog that I agree is more than likely just showing some separation anxiety and boredom.

       However, my comment was actually just a continuation in lolspeak of dog dialog.

       so… uh…

   thanks for your concern but i assure you that kez (dog in pic) does not display any form of separation related anxiety and is usually kept with 5 other dogs with free access to at least 3 acres of land. however… she is on a restricted excercise regime whilst her broken leg mends. she has been an angel, bless her but obviously had a moment of madness upon finding the magazines. this is now her new fave game and it alleviates any boredom, so be it. sorry had to get that off my chest!

   This is my dog. She is recovering from a broken leg, she broke her leg from jumping over a fence. She needs to be confined to this small area for a few weeks so that her leg can recover properly. Normally she has at least 3 acres of land (60 acres when we open the gates) to play in with her 5 doggie friends. From experience i have found she has little interest in playing with boring dog toys so i give her old magazines and she has a whale of a time shredding them.

   If she does get bored for a little bit then so be it! I’d rather my dog got well soon rather than have further damage to her leg. Also that cage (i prefer to call it a puppy crate, as we use it when training to help prevent separation anxiety, being in the crate is a nice place for my doggies) is just used to block the open doorway so she can get some fresh air but not escape and hurt herself.

   In short, i love my dog, please don’t just assume that she is being mistreated.

     I -love- that you’re willing to clean up magazine confetti just ’cause she loves doing it. Good for you! She has an adorable face. I hope she recovers fully and is back to adventuring in no time.

      Technically, doglady didn’t say the dog was hers. She just explained the circumstances. Maybe doglady is mem’s mom.
