It’s Flyin’ Dog! He goin’ intu hyperspase!

  4. LB says:

Does it not bother anyone else that they are holding this puppy out of a sunroof in a moving car?

I don’t think it is good to post pics of irresponsible behavior. Don’t want to encourage other new dog owners to do the same thing!

    • kellee says:

It bothers me. I hope they’re going real slow. And it’s just real windy.

    • Kestrel says:

It bothers me!!! Thats exactly what I was going to comment on. I bet that poor puppy is terrified. I hope he is safe.

    • Snoupee says:

      Oh right, people…
…as if dogs would NEVER voluntarily stick their heads out of a moving car…
…give me a break, he loves it!

      • M P K says:

Snoopee, you should get an education on how to care for pets. Anyone who behaves like that does not deserve to own a dog.

What if an insect flew in that puppy’s eye? THIS IS NOT FUNNY AT ALL!

        • Snoupee says:

I think that what would happen to that dog if an insect flew into its eye is the same as what would happen to all the dogs who seem to crave sticking their heads out of cars going 50 miles per hour I see every single day on the highway, that’s what.

          • Noofies says:

And every other dog sticking his head out of a car going 50 miles an hour has an idiot for an owner, too!

    • M P K says:

I agree with you. This is very dangerous for the dog’s ears. Some people just don’t get it. Makes you wonder if they would hold their kids up like that. Probably have!

    • e_milly_lewis@hotmail.com says:

Can’ believe they have shown this – it’s totally irresponsible!

  5. lowly grunt says:

    I’m falling — with style!!

  6. flingdecow says:

ROFL..funniest loldogs are the simplest it seems! ;)

    • flingdecow says:

But yeah actually, now Ive thought about it. That woman should not be holding a little puppy out of the car like that, while someone takes photos for their amusement. The caption was funny..the photo is not.

  7. kan says:

i think that’s cruel and wrong. poor dog. you can tell by the manicured hands that the woman holding the puppy cares more about her nails than the life of her pet.

  8. Jes says:

Poor pup. It was probably so scared:(

  9. bec says:

not cool at all. poor dog. the owner should be slapped for doin that

  10. Snoupee says:

Im teh king of teh werld!!!!

  11. Burphel says:

    Ludicrous speed!

  12. jan says:

That dog looks scared. You can see the white around his (her) eyes.

  13. ThinklePeep says:

Eye dint liek teh capshun or duh pikshur. Eye fink eye nefer sayd that heer beefore.

  14. barboid says:

You guys are making a big deal out of nothing. They’re not going very fast, you can still see the details of the building in the background. The dog is not scared, your eyes would look like that too if you stuck your head out like that. Haven’t you seen the stock footage video of the guy in the centrifuge machine? This isn’t anywhere close.

I like the caption and the picture, in fact, I remember voting for it when it was on the voting page. My message to you guys: Lighten up.

    ~end of rant~

warp speed mr. sulu. and warp speed numbah wun, engage!

    • gert says:

obviously you fail to realize that due to perspective or parallax. The house is further away, so it appears to be going slower, thereby making it seem detailed in the photo. Also, with a decent shutter speed, you would get that anyway, no matter how fast you’re going.

      It’s wrong and cruel.

  15. Sarasvatia says:

I agree: this is an irresponsible thing to do to an obviously terrified animal: whether puppy or older dog. My Mojo (an adult 100% blue blood mutt) would love to hang out the window. Why will I not let him? Turn down the radio and listen to the sound of tiny stuff kicked up by the car’s wheels (yours and the one ahead of you) hitting your car: now imagine that grain of sand hitting your pet’s eye. Cost of surgery and follow up 2-3 $grand; cost of pet’s pain: priceless.

  16. keebler says:

Yeah…this is a depressing picture just due to the harm that could have happened to the puppy. Dogs aren’t supposed to stick their heads out of moving vehicles since the wind can damage their eyes, esp at the speeds like in this picture. Please remove it!

  17. Puplovah says:

On the one hand I agree.. it’s adorable… But I also agree the pup looks a wee bit terrified.. I for one would not hold that small of a dog out that large of a window against his will.. and I also agree.. the nails make it look like a Paris.. and no goggie wants a Paris as a mummy.. NO GOGGIE!

  18. Mel says:

awwww… my parents have a yorkie, and we’d never let him put his head out of the window, much less the sunroof. they’re only 4 or 5 pounds–they fly away so easily!

  19. Sterling says:

I bet this poor dog belongs to some chick that carries it around in her handbag.
and yeah barboid- ”the dog isnt scared”
id love to see your interpretation of someone or something getting a fright so. or id love to see your head stuck out a window.
what face is it so? the dogs ”oh joy this is wicked innit” face?!

  20. sophie says:

Honestly people… are you afraid of life? I’ve come from a farm and farm dogs sit on the back of trucks and hang their heads out. I’ve probably seen 20 dogs live full lives as farm dogs and not once have I seen one get something in its eye.

And if you hold something above the sunroof and let it go while you drive… it falls right back in the car.

This is no more dangerous than having your dog in the back seat of your car without a restrainer.

  21. InFl!kT says:

Seriously.. don’t go on steroids d00d. Dogs luv to stick their heads out of car windows,, this submission is funny as hell, nuff’ said.

    • Lildog says:

There is a difference between a dog choosing to stick his head out of a window and some idiotic human shoving the dog’s head out of a sunroof.

You may like drinking a glass of water, but that doesn’t mean someone should shove a glass of water down your throat through a funnel. But oh wait, caring about your discomfort would make someone on steroids(… as if that even made sense).

      ‘Nuff said.

  22. Shaylor says:

ignoring all of the arguements… my big question is, who took the picture? and if they were doing 50 mph… impressive!

  23. random padawan says:

The centrifuge comment is actually accurate. The car is going fast enough for the wind to pull just enough on the puppy’s fur and facial skin for the whites of the eyes to show. Dogs eyes don’t usually show white unless the skin in that area is pulled back. I only ever see it when I shave my dogs in the summer and that also will pull on the skin a bit.

  24. random padawan says:

The puppy is undeniably adorable though…
