btw: Nice story. It sems that dogs are a little confused when they see humans in an unusual outfit, whereas my cats always look somewhat compassionate at me when I get up in the morning (and I’m sure that they’re poking fun at me when I’m not looking).

Mai gog waits patiently every morning for me to put on sweatpants, sweatshirt, socks, slippers (I’m sure she thinks the list goes on forever) before I take her out. I’m sure she is cunfuzed and rather disgusted that I just don’t go out as I am, like she does. I know it. I can see the love+faint contempt in her eyez.

TRUE STORY:
When our dog was a puppy, we barricaded parts of the house that had carpet until he figured out what “OUT” meant. After that, he was allowed free roam of the house.

Well, one day, I entered the bathroom to shower and realized, after I had taken my clothes off, that there were no towels. So, I went back out into the hall to get some and my dog saw me naked.

He barked his head off.

I was deeply hurt and told my husband later and he said, “Oh, Dewey has never seen you without your outer layer on. He probably didn’t recognize you.”

I felt much better, but I still think Dewey may have been barking, “MY EYES! MY EYES! THEY BURN!”
